Supported methods of payments for Surge

In Surge, there are various payment methods available to you depending on whether you are creating your campaign in the Bloc app or on the web.

You can access Surge in the Bloc app from a video you want to boost or several different ways from within the app menu. Learn how to find Surge in-app.

Available payment methods

BLOCS

BLOCS are virtual items that can be earned and purchased by Bloc users. You can buy BLOCS with real money or earn them within the app and use them as a way to activate Surge campaigns to boost posts. You can purchase them directly in the store within the Bloc app.

Your BLOC balance can be used to pay for your Surge order as long as you have a balance. Learn how to purchase and earn BLOCS on Bloc.

Note: The Bloc Virtual Items Policy applies.

• BLOCS Policy for users in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK.

• Virtual Items Policy for users in all other regions.

Credit or debit card

You can add your credit card, debit card, bank account information, gift cards, and e-wallet as a payment method for your Surge order. Note: These payment options may vary depending on your location.

Surge balance

If your Surge campaign is successfully delivered, you can check the campaign status on the Surge dashboard. If the launched orders are closed early or fails the review, the unused balance of the orders will be refunded to your Surge Balance. You can view the refund amount in Surge by clicking on the Mine tab.

Note: Coupons used to pay for your Surge order may not be returned at the end of the promotion.

Withdrawals from your Surge Balance will be returned to your bank account.

For IOS devices:

• If you paid for Surge directly with Apple Pay, you cannot withdraw from your Surge Balance. You'll have to follow Apple Pay rules for withdrawals.

• Only the amount deducted from BLOCS balance can be withdrawn from Surge Balance. To find your BLOCS balance, go to your profile page. 

For Android devices and all European countries:

• You can withdraw the money from your Surge Balance by clicking  Withdrawal on Surge Balance pages. The processing time for withdrawals may vary.

Note: Your Surge Balance cannot be withdrawn if you have integrated Surge with Bloc Ads Manager. You can only use your balance in Surge or a future campaign or close your Surge account to withdraw your balance.

Surge Ads Manager balance

After you integrate Surge with Bloc Ads Manager, you'll be able to pay for your Surge campaign using your account balance in Bloc Ads Manager. Learn  how to integrate Promote with Bloc Ads Manager.
